Lizzie Borden took an ax....or did she?
|
Most of us have heard the old rhyming ditty of Lizzie Borden, and are probably as familiar with that story as we are with the stories of ol' Bloody Jack. But, did she really do it?
Probably no one will ever know and the murderer is long since dead as is Lizzie and her family. But, amateur sleuths, as well as many professionals, still find this case to be as fascinating as it was when it happened 115 years ago.
In this link you will see the rather grisly crime scene photos, be able to read the autopsy reports and photos on both Andrew and Abby Borden, read the probable sequence of events, etc. Everything about the case that is available is on file and browse-able at the link. So many theories abound about the case of Andrew and Abby Borden's horrible deaths, and about the guilt or innocence of Lizzie Borden. I invite you to take a look and decide for yourself...did Lizzie Borden take an ax and give her mother 40 whacks, and when the job was nice and done, give her father 41?
