A new French independent short horror movie is on it's way. Shot in Grenoble and other cities of the Isère and Ardèche regions in France, the movie tells the story of a survivor trying to live a normal life after an epidemic of apocalyptic proportions has wiped out human life on earth and turned men and women into zombies. Killing zombies becomes the protagonist's everyday routine until he sees his former love. She has changed quite a bit, but noone is perfect.
According to the website, 'Chasse gardée' is inspired by the Eat your heart out comic book by Kelley Jones, and attemps to mix horror with dark humor. The movie is shot in black and white and is only the second French zombie movie if I am not mistaken (if you factor Les Revenants, then it's the third French flick of this kind). Check out the teaser. For those of you who like the slow almost disarticulated zombies, this is for you.
