So there is another horror webseries to talk about: The Dead Hour. Divided into 5 shorts of about 20 minutes, it offers very interesting characters : alcoholic vampires, cannibals girls, crazy retirees and seriously creepy wives. I have watched all five. Enjoyed some. Fell asleep watching some. But the darkness, dark humor and disaster (à la Georges Bataille) that I look for is there. Only thing missing are zombies. Next time. But at least we got cannibal girls.

You have to enjoy independent film-making. It explores facets of horror that are not readily exploited by mainstream horror. And as an horror anthology, The Dead Hour stands well on its own.
