Hobo with a shotgun has been declared the winner of the Austin SXSW Faux-Trailer contest. Robert Rodriguez, of the upcoming Grindhouse, has declared Hobo with a shotgun the winner. So one of my favs won, and it seems the Trailer Park Boys were involved in this one. I heard this a while back but couldn't figure out in what capacity. Well, at least I know what Bubbles is up to. Check at 1:44. Yup, that's seems to be him alright, doing some dental work. Still don't know what roles Ricky and Julian are playing, but meh, not a big Trailer Park Boys fan anyway. Other winners were The Dead won't die and Maiden of Death. I like Maiden of Death, and it wasn't on my list (http://www.bloodee.com/HorrorClips/Hobo-with-ShotGun/). I missed that first list. Hobo with a shotgun deserved to win, but I would have personally chose different second and third prizes. But Maiden of Death has good effects. Loved the car split in two with the guitar.
