Legends of the Dark and Bloody Ground pt. 5
|
In this tale, I'll tell of a personal experience I had with the spirit of a little boy who haunted a church on the Main street of Morehead.
My hubby and I were walking down one of the streets on the sidewalk that ran behind this church that sits on Main Street in Morehead. It was a really nice summer day, not too hot, with a light breeze. behind this church was a small play ground for the kids who parents attended this church...I guess so they wouldn't disrupt services.
Anyway, as we were walking by this church playground I saw a small boy with blonde hair, a blue striped short sleeved shirt, and red shorts. He was wearing plain white tennis shoes and socks. He was standing by the swing set holding to one of the swing chains just watching us as we walked by. I went to say, "Hello..." and mention him to my hubby when he just disappeared right before my eyes! I stopped stone still. My husband asked me what was wrong, and I said,"That little boy just disappeared!" "Right before my eyes!" Needless to say I was just a wee bit freaked...not scared..but a bit shaken nonetheless. That's when he told me about his experience in the play ground when he and his daughter sneaked in one night. He was sitting on one of the swings when the other started swinging all by itself. It looked like there was weight in it he said, and it would swing higher and higher with each pass. I said, "Well, it was probably that little boy....damn...I just saw a ghost!"
