What we are looking for are writers that will respect the readers, respect the industry and help the site grow. We are interested in all aspects of horror: art, fiction, news, poetry, games, and so forth. Our expectation:
1. For Horror short Stories, reviews, interviews, nonfiction, essays, walkthroughs, etc. on any aspect of horror, etc., a minimum of 500 words
1. For horror news, a minimum of 250 words.
1. For horror clips, photography and art, a minimum of 100 words and the video, photography and art when allowed by copyright and intellectual property.

When submitting an item, add the embedding code of the video/media/game/photo in the Embedding field below the Summary field and add a description. Make sure you follow the all applicables guidelines.

Bloodee is a user-driven web 2.0 site devoted to the horror genre - horror 2.0. Built by its community, it offers a means to aggregate the best horror stories, clips, fiction, sites, pictures and art on the web under the same banner.
Scour the web for horror content, bookmark it on Bloodee.com and vote for stories other users have submitted. Other users will vote your story to the top or into the gutter - an architecture of collective mapping and discovery of the best of horror on the web. Content on bloodee is user-generated, which means that you may submit your own horror content (photography, news, reviews, fiction, etc.), but the site also relies on the good faith of its users to collectively aggregate horror content, all horror content, not exclusively your own. Using the Bloodee bookmarklets, store and share your favorite horror content; create your own compendium of horror news and sites and share it by linking to your profile; discover new sites, artists, movies; comment news; make new undead friends...

Only registered members may vote on stories and add new content to Bloodee. Horror content or content closely related to horror may be posted on Bloodee. And the best part is the bury function allows you to push so-so stories and spam into the arms of Hades, keeping the river of horror running wild, just like we like it.

Bloodee is meant to be a fun and collective way of sharing horror. To attract more people to the covenant:
- Share horror - When you like a story, click on share the horror to share it with friends. We do not collect emails other than for the purpose of registration, welcoming you to the service and providing you with password recovery services. Privacy Policy
- Spread the word - We aren't encouraging anyone to shove the service down anyone's throat nor to torment cats to bring attention to it, but if you like what it offers, help expand the collective by spreading the word of your lord bloodee.
- Add the bookmarklets to your site/blog - While it is safe to assume that the billion or so web surfers across the world will eventually use the bloodee bookmarklets, this is not the case at the time of press today. Help us expand, by adding the bloodee bookmarklet to your site or blog, or to any other type of poison that you produce. This will help your users find us. And if they find us through you, they will map a trajectory to your horror with us, helping us send you travellers in need of their daily dose of freak. You, them and us finding, discovering and sharing horror.
