Folks at bloodparty are calling for submissions for SLICES, a “post modern” horror compendium about "“bloody slices of horrifying life”. CALL TO HORROR FICTION WRITERS…
SLICES, “post modern” horror produced for Blood Party is now accepting submissions. Our mission is to create a unique outlet where writers may showcase their works that illustrate the dark erotic nature and extreme pleasures of “cult-style” horror fiction.
While there are few restrictions placed upon content, Blood Party does reserve the right to edit material, withdraw material from publication on Blood Party, or refuse material for publication on Blood Party. Material MUST be the legal property of the writer.
SLICES will host short fiction “bloody slices of horrifying life”. We prefer lengths between 150 and 500 words. Longer works may be considered as serialized installments. Manuscripts should be submitted in electronic format, either through e-mail or on disk and should be written using Word, Wordpad, or Notepad. Please indent paragraphs, single space lines and add an extra space between paragraphs.
Blood Party assumes no control of submission copyrights. All rights belong to the author. However, Blood Party does require the author’s permission for works to be considered for publication on Blood Party. Submitting materials for consideration to Blood Party is the same as “granting permission” to Blood Party to review works and to consider their eligibility for the intent to publish the works on BloodParty.Com/VampyreBeach.Com. The author should allow sufficient notice (up to three months in writing) if the author should desire removal of materials from publication on Blood Party.
Only the author’s name or “handle” will be made public. However, the author’s name, address, and e-mail address should be attached to all manuscripts. No personal information, (except for the author’s name) will be made available to any other parties.
SLICES are in continuous evolution as an on-going part of Blood Party, therefore no dead-line for submissions is strictly adhered to. Please allow three months for notification of publication.
Thank you,
The Editors at Blood Party
